Photo of the Month (April 2026 Edition): Praia Dura
I’ll take the liberty of repeating the title and location of this edition of Photo of the Month. In the previous edition, I talked about the changes in the landscape caused by the heavy rains that passed through Ubatuba at the end of summer. Now, this photo is also taken in the rain, but from a different perspective. First of all, it’s a photo taken from the opposite side of the same beach, contrasting with the previous image. But above all, it represents a memorable, cozy late afternoon, with a light, beautiful, colorful rain that leaves a sense of longing. This photo is the positive counterpart to the monochromatic landscape portrayed in the previous edition.
